Plaques
Granite, Bronze, Alloy, Stainless Steel or Ceramic, Aorangi & Harding will meticulously craft or cast the perfect memorial for your loved one, pet or location.
Each casting is a unique piece in its own right. Craftsmen use traditional methods for casting the bronze plaques and ensure that every handmade sign or plaque leaving the foundry is perfect.
Rocks and Bluestone
When Mt Horrible erupted, a sheet of lava flowed over about 130 square kilometres west of Timaru and cooled into long bluffs and ridges of a blue/grey vesicular basalt rock, run through with veins and features the equal of which is not found anywhere else in New Zealand. This basalt is now known as Timaru Bluestone.
Timaru Bluestone, such a unique material, makes for an amazingly original and unique memorial. The team at Aroangi & Harding Memorials have been crafting memorials from Timaru Bluestone for years.
Photo Ceramics
Photos really make a memorial special. After digital retouching and restoration, fusing an image into porcelain that will last forever, the quality is as good as the original. Ceramics are ideal for any image that is colourful and intricate and not suitable to make into a stencil – so as well as photos they can be ideal for logos, flower bunches etc.
